Does a certified copy replace the original?
For most administrative procedures abroad, yes — provided it also carries the apostille or legalization required by the destination country.
Do I need to be present?
For certified copies, it is usually enough to hand us the original. For signature verification, the signatory must appear before the notary; we book the appointment.
